Walk 20,000 steps over Europe's rain-soaked cobblestones while your feet stay completely dry and blister-free.

5 reasons travellers are ditching their old shoes for Vessis

Pack one pair, not five.

Pack one pair, not five.

When you have to bring five different pairs of shoes for your trip, checking a heavy suitcase is inevitable. Vessis combine Dyma-tex™ waterproof technology with cloud-like comfort, so you can pack one pair of shoes that can handle cobblestones, downpours, and dinner reservations. Travellers can now fit everything in a carry-on, and still leave room for souvenirs.

“I purchased these for my trip to Scotland. I ended up wearing these sneakers every day of my vacation. Walked several kilometres on most days through various terrains and varying weather conditions. My feet were never wet once. Never felt sweaty. Never got a single blister”

Walk 20,000 steps without blisters.

Taking brand new shoes on vacation is usually a gamble — most shoes can’t handle long days of walking. Vessis have zero break-in period and are comfortable right out of the box, so you can walk 20,000 steps on day one and still feel great at dinner.

“These were PERFECT for a 2 week trip to Europe - I was very concerned about being wet and cold and my Vessis kept my feet toasty and dry. I walked upwards of 25,000 steps each day and had literally no complaints! They kept my feet comfortable, warm and dry!”

Your socks stay bone dry.

Your socks stay bone dry.

If you’ve worn “water-resistant” shoes before, you know that it doesn’t take long for rain to soak through. Vessis are different. The waterproof membrane is part of the knit itself, not a sprayed-on coating. Torrential rain, Iceland waterfall spray, unexpected downpours… still bone dry.

“I purchased these shoes specifically for my trip to Ireland. I wore them every day for 20 days and put on 193km walking. A lot of times in the rain. My pants were soaked (I was wearing a rain jacket) but my shoes and feet stayed dry!”

— Janice S.

Cobblestones to dinner plans in the same pair.

Travel shoes usually force a choice: functional but ugly, or stylish but uncomfortable. Vessis are waterproof enough for waterfalls, comfortable enough for 20,000 steps, and stylish enough for dinner in Paris. Travelers wear them with jeans, dresses, and activewear without changing between activities. One pair, morning to night.

“I got them for a trip to Iceland. They were fabulous sightseeing around Reykjavik and hiking other areas in the rain! They were so comfortable I even wore them on the plane!”

— Crescynthia J.

Designed for easier travel days.

Designed for easier travel days.

Standing in customs lines, taking your shoes on and off to go through security, running to your gate, hours of sitting on flights… travel days put a lot of strain on your feet. Vessis are the ideal travel shoes: light enough to forget you're wearing them, comfortable enough for 10+ hour travel days, and many styles are easy on and off.

“Bought these for a trip to the UK and I wore them almost every day despite having an alternate pair of shoes. Lightweight, comfy, waterproof, enough stretch to offer comfort and compression to swollen feet after walking 10+ km a day. Easy for on and off at the airport.”

— Gillian W.

FAQ

Yes. Travellers consistently report 2+ weeks with one pair — cobblestones, rain, restaurants, all of it.

Many Vessi styles can handle light flat trails, countryside walks, and waterfall paths. For technical mountain climbing or advanced trails, you'd want dedicated boots.

The breathable Dyma-tex™ waterproof membrane lets heat escape, which helps minimize odours. Plus, all Vessis are easy to clean, with many styles being machine washable.

Travellers wear them to dinner in Paris and bars across Europe. They look like clean, modern sneakers, not like waterproof shoes.

Vessis run true to size for most customers. Refer to the individual style for fit and size guidance. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Free exchanges make it easy to get the right fit.
