Vessi started as a way to get people out in the world on rainy days. But it didn’t take us long to realize that once you’re out there, that’s when the real magic happens. Water, whether falling from the sky or running by your feet, has the power to spark joy and connect us to the moment.

Meet the Founders
We’re three Vancouverites who, after a few too many wet socks and rain checks, set out to create a totally waterproof sneaker that looked and felt anything but. What we ended up with was much more than a shoe, but a community focused on celebrating water and giving back.

Are Vessis actually 100% waterproof?
Yup - and it's not a coating!
We developed a patented knit material with an integrated layer that allows the sweat and heat escape so your feet can breathe, but still keep all the elements out. Puddles beware!
How does it work?
With a million tiny holes in the membrane layer, water in vapour form (sweat) and heat can pass through the tiny holes but water molecules are too large to pass. This means the waterproofing will last the lifespan of your shoes... Unless of course you create a larger hole in the material!

We want you and your Vessis to be together forever. That's why we stand behind our quality and promise. All Vessis come with a 1 year warranty on any manufacturer defects.
Keep in mind that we don't cover issues caused by modifying, exposing your Vessis to harsh chemicals, or if the defect has been caused by excessive wear and tear.
That said, if you think your Vessis are acting up please don't hesitate to reach and let us know. We’re more than happy to reach out and see what we can do for you!
