Do they have arch support?
The Boardwalk features a midsole made of a lightweight and cushy EVA compound, for support that feels most similar to our Weekend Collection. And, as always, our insoles are removable if you prefer a more custom support option.
Are they slip-resistant?
Yes! The Boardwalk outsole features a new wave tread, designed to maximize both ground contact and channeling for grip on dry and wet surfaces. In testing, the non-slip and traction performed up to and beyond market standards for boat/sailing shoes.
Plus, the soft, yet durable rubber leaves no scuff marks, making them a great choice for both on and off deck.
Are the Boardwalks stain-proof?
No. While they aren't stain-proof, they’re super easy to clean thanks to their waterproofness. In most cases, some warm water and a gentle scrub will do the trick.
If you’re prone to getting your shoes dirty, you might consider a darker color to eliminate the need for frequent cleaning.
Can I use the boardwalks as a boat shoe?
Absolutely! The Boardwalks were designed for use both on and off deck, with grip-tested and non-marking outsoles and our signature waterproof knit. Not to mention they’re lightweight, breathable, and comfortable for long days on the water.
