Ouch
These shoes press the neck of my feet .(where the leg and foot meet and around the ankle). I have worn them
Several times hoping to break them in but now just have black marks around my foot.
I don’t like them :( I prefer my weekenders.

Hi Merab,
It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
Not to worry, after a few more wears the ankle opening will have loosened up to become the perfect fit for your feet. We recommend a shoehorn in the meantime or leaving a wide, circular object in them overnight to help stretch out the elastic.
